Melee

I saw a family feeding some birds and I thought that would be appropriate for this weeks challenge.

cheers,

Wow. That is all.

I love the first one. Abstract enough to be interesting but I still know what's going on. The black and white really works.

I don't like the second nearly as much. The extreme sepia is overpowering and the really, really strong vignette is too distracting and noticeable.

But the first one makes up for it, definitely.

The first photo is evocative of an Escher sketch so, yeah, Wow.

I like both photos as interesting photos... But, and this might just sound stupid, I am overwhelmed with various senses relating to birds, without any sense of a bird's eye view. I get flight, I get quickness, I get alien-ness, I even kinda feel a sense of a shortened lifespan... but nothing about the viewpoint. Totally subjective, of course. I'm not a fan of sepiatone without a good reason, so I prefer the second over the first. Both are, and I cannot stress this enough, freaking cool.

I meant to say "prefer the first over the second". Weird syntax error.

These are beautiful. After reading your comments, I almost wish I could see a little of the family feeding the birds, but that's neither here nor there. I like that your photos are filled with activity. A few of the other photos are filled with motion, but I feel like yours are more alive.
