Two stops don't make a go

Not just one stop (in time), but two! With the light on the left and the sign on the ground it reminds me of a crime scene photo. A speudo strobe effect that makes you wonder what happened when.

This photo makes me feel like I'm in some sort of sci-fi time loop! I like the "stopping time" sensation that's emphasized by the subjects and the black and white scheme. Was there any photoshop work done post-shooting?

Thanks! No photoshop (in part because I don't own it, hehe), but I did play a little with brightness and contrast.
