I love the color scheme. I also really like the soft wintery moving lights opposing the hard autumnal metal posts. I'm a fan of asymmetry, so the spread of components is also great. I think I agree with Steve about increased contrasts, not just for the lights but also to make those shadows from the posts pop out more.
But there's not enough height or context for me to really feel the bird's eye view without it being pointed out to me. Still love the photo.
Steve Losh is my brain twin on this one. I echo everything he said. Perhaps it would have been more pop-y if you weren't standing under a streetlamp. Stupid streetlamps, ruining stuff! Other than that, nice photo!

I have a soft spot for long exposures.
I think this could use quite a bit more contrast to make the lights stand out more from the rest of the scene.
