We've decided to add the rule (for all challenges) that you have to take the photo after we post the challenge, unless stated otherwise. So no crackly frozen lakes unless you visit Labrador, got it?
We're stoked at how many people submit great photos every week. To those who haven't posted yet, get your cameras out!
Also, feedback is still welcome on the format, challenges, voting procedure, etc.

oh boy...
I watch this blog far too obsessively. Or just obsessively enough? Whoo-hoo!
P.S., if the submitted photos' EXIF info is made obvious, like on flickr, it's easy to see when the photos are taken and also cool stuff like what kind of camera and various shot settings.
Suggestions:
Please, please link posted images to a higher resolution version. The photos are so small at 400px wide that they can barely be seen on higher-res screens.
Also, don't strip the EXIF from your photos when you export. That way we can look at the data and learn.

I thought it was clearly stated a few times that all photos that are submitted have to be taken after the challenge has been made.
